A Life Map in Time

Going back in time I remember a few moments in my life that stuck out the most. These moments were memorabilia to my childhood, and are interesting, yet out of the ordinary, incidents in my history. Take a look at what these are and you’ll know a bit about me and my favorite moments…
A Big Hero: In 7th grade during the peak end of winter, my friend and I went out to my lake. It was in the golf course in our backyard. The ice was frozen in the middle, so I ran across fine. My friend on the other hand had a tragic incident; he fell right into the lake. He was drowning, while I was halfway across the lake. I ran to reach for him and luckily saved him in time. He would have been near the bottom if I hadn’t been there to save him. It was a day that my friend and I both remember well, and will never forget it.
My First Website: Last summer I was researching on the internet about websites. I recently had developed a liking in web developing and programming. I had a vast knowledge of computers and was willing to create a website. For 3 months from June to August I learned the ways to make a website worthy of the internet. I called it Fantasy PC, and it is still up and running with many members and features. It was my first website and it was a very spectacular moment in my life. I was and still am happy of Fantasy PC as it is a great achievement in my perspective of my life.
Visit to Pakistan: In the summer of 1998, when I was 6 years old, I went to visit my country Pakistan. I had never been to Pakistan before except on my birth. When I was a baby I lived in America, so this was a very exceptional time for me. I was happy to be on the way to Pakistan. It was an 18-20 hour flight that was very exhausting. When I stayed in Pakistan I realized something, I realized that Pakistan was a much different country than America. It was a much more difficult, simple, and rather unclean country than the U.SA. That day I learned that there were many other countries out there like this, and that everybody doesn’t live a good life like I do.
Accident of My Life: When I was in 8th grade, I begged my parents for an Air soft Gun. It was not an ordinary gun that fired plastic pellets, this one had metal bullets the size of a small pea. They would cut through your skin if shot at, and that’s exactly what happened to me. I was unaware at the time that a pellet was still in the gun, so I fired a trigger just for fun at the floor. The problem is that the bullets ricochet right into my left hand. It was stuck inside my hand right next to a nerve ending. I had to go to the hospital and have surgery on my hand for the pellet to be removed. The doctor said I was lucky because if the bullet was aimed any closer to my nerve, I would have been paralyzed in my left hand. I learned that day that life was very valuable, and I should be very careful about it.
Fireworks: This has to be one of my favorites hobbies in the world, although one of the dangerous ones as well. I had first been experienced to fireworks when I was in 2nd grade. It was one of the most spectacular days of my life, as I can still remember it now. From that day on I developed a passion for fireworks. Later in my years I realized that there were Fireworks that are simple like fountains and such, but others that can be fired into the air like rockets. Those types were not sold in Michigan, but in different states. They are hard to get items, and my dad never lets me get them, but I still try my best to get some from friends. The only time I can get aerial fireworks is when my family goes to visit in another state. This summer I hope to be able to get some.
The Wonders of Gaming: When I was in 3rd grade I received something special, a Super Nintendo gaming system. It was my first game console in my life, and I enjoyed it very much. From that day on I realized the wonders of the gaming world. It was a fascinating experience and I became addicted as any other person would. I soon bought a Gameboy, Gamecube, Xbox, Nintendo DS, and Wii. But then I grasped something else, PC Games. They were my favorite of all. The special thing of PC games is that you can play online with everyone across the world, unlike a game console where you play alone. My favorite type of game is an RTS or Real Time Strategy game. RTS games require dexterity, knowledge, coordination, and technique. They are hard to play games and the only way to win is to beat an opponent with your massive army and tactics. These types of games are helpful as well as they teach you coordination and strategic skills.
A Burn in Reality: When I was a young boy in elementary school, something very severe happened. It did not happen to me, but to my younger sister. She had a third degree burn on her face to her right shoulder. It was at home, when my mom was cooking and she left a bowl of hot liquid to the side of my counter. My sister was very little and curiously tipped the bowl over. It spilled on her causing burns beyond belief. She had to be taken the hospital right away. Much of her face is healed now, but her shoulder still has a mark that frankly, won’t go away. At that time I knew the dangers of fire and heat, and learned not to take chances with it.
