Mark loved food. If you asked him what his hobbies were he would tell you eating. He wasn’t fat or anything; he just liked the textures and savored every bite of his meals. That particular day, Mark had ordered his favorite food… pizza. Not normal pizza, the most luxurious kind he could find. A large pizza that had all the toppings from sausages to olives.
Of course, he wouldn’t eat it all. Mark didn’t have a family, but he had a lab named Charlie. You see, Mark didn’t feed Charlie dog food. Instead, he fed him whatever he was eating. On that day, he brought Charlie along with him to pick up the pizza he had ordered.

“Well my friend, we will feast tonight!” Mark said to Charlie.
Charlie barked back in approval. Mark went to get the pizza, while Charlie sat patiently. A half an hour passed, and the dog was getting impatient. Fidgeting around, he leaped between the driver’s seat and the passenger’s seat. Accidentally, Charlie shifted the gears from Parking to Drive. Charlie was no dumb dog. He knew something was wrong the instant the car started moving towards a river. The only thing he could do was to do what dogs did best… bark. Barking as loud as he can, he tried to get his owner’s attention. It was no use. The Impala charged on forward towards the river.
“Sorry about that Charlie, our order got mixed up… OH DEAR NELLY!” Mark exclaimed at the sight of his car going straight towards the river.

There was absolutely nothing he could do as the car plummeted into the river. Charlie leaped out of the river right before the car plummeted in.

After the incident, even Mark lost his appetite. He called a tow truck and eventually got his car out. As a punishment, Charlie will have to eat dog food for a month. That will teach him a lesson.
