Humor is fine, but it still has to have the scent of believability.

And, I think Roy Lee’s comments are too long. A real newspaper report would probably edit that down to something much shorter.

To do a really good satire or parody, you really have to nail the structure of a real news report, and make it humorous.

The story lost credibility with the police comments. I mean, I know it’s a fake story, but the way the comments from the police were worded just wasn’t believable. And, the 1-800 number, meh.
