I Hid the Money Behind the Walls

“They are coming!” yelled Marcus as he gently closed the door. “What are we going to do man? We have nowhere to go!” said Roger.
The two convicts had stolen 26,000 from a TCF Bank. They were Marcus and Roger, 2 men who supposedly were on their parole, but once a convict always a convict. The 2 men were staying at a small motel on the countryside of Traverse City, MI. If they were to be caught, the two would face sever criminal time in the brig for 10 years along with a 2,000$ fine for breaking the parole.
“I have an idea” said the convict.
“Why don’t we just stow the money somewhere, act natural?” said the same tall man.
“We can’t, I mean, I can’t pull it off, were doomed!” said Marcus.
“If you blow this, we’re totally screwed man” Roger said in a stern voice.
As they were contemplating, they found a patch of wallpaper that was torn, they quickly threw the 26 grand in the broken fabric and rotting wall of the motel. Although, not all the money could fit, so they had to think of other hiding spots, Roger quickly and without any thought threw the leftover three thousand behind the bathtub, and if that wasn’t enough trauma, the cops suddenly knocked on the door.
“Go get the door Marcus” said Roger.
“Hi, we’re looking for two suspects still in parole with a stolen amount of 26 thousand dollars, they look like this” the Officer showed a drawing of the men.
“Hmm, that guy looks familiar, he’s got a nice looking stache’ if I might add, and a handsome face.” said Marcus.
“Excuse me?” said the Officer, who looked as if though he thought the convict was gay.
“I mean, no I haven’t seen him Officer.”
The Officer passed through halls and told the Police Station about his awkward moment, the Chief at the station said that the two men were last seen at a small motel in the town. The Officer quickly slammed the door down and yelled, “Put your hands where I can see them and get down!”.
The 2 convicts were caught, and had to spend 10 years in jail with a 2,000$ fine for each.
