John Chow is like the sensation of the Internet. Everybody has heard of his name before, whether from going to his site or his famous giveaways. Besides that, his website has gotten national attention from magazines. However for those of you who don’t know him or his blog, let’s take a look.

Design: Overall, the template and layout is easy to read and clean. It’s also very organized with the tabs on top and easy to navigate through the site. The banner with the two cars is a plus, but there could be a better picture more related to the site. On top of that, the Google Ads are well placed. Also, he has the slogan “A Dot Com Mongul,” which is nice and creative. Overall, the design the awesome but could use another picture.

Blog Focus: The Blog Focus is helping you become as rich and famous as John Chow himself. He helps you make money online. This is a pretty nice focus, because everyone wants to become rich and famous these days. However, he also posts random videos and ramblings sometimes. That is a nice addition to the site, because money can get boring sometimes.

Writing Style: John Chow’s writing style is really unique. Through his writing, you can get to know his personality right away: a successful, caring, good humored, helping individual. After you read just one article, it actually feels like you’ve met the guy personally. He’s also succinct and to the point in his articles, not rambling on about this and that.


The Real John Chow: Besides having a very successful blog, John Chow also owns The TechZone, which has over 200,000 visitors a day. He lives in Vancouver, Canada and also has some daughters. One of them is Ashley, who like his big dad, has a website also at www.ashleychow.com. Who knows? Maybe she will become as successful as her big dad. John Chow is just one successful and smart guy.

Overall, John Chow’s site is everything it should be: helpful, reliable, and entertaining to read. Unlike the celebrities out there, it looks like famous bloggers are famous for a reason.
