Review Winner and School!
Sep 4th, 2007 by Alex
As I announced earlier, today is the day I will announce the winner for a review written by me. There were three entrants: Ravi, Brad, and Dan. I used a number generator to generate a random number 1-3 located at random.org. Ravi was 1, Brad was 2, and Dan was 3. The number chosen was 3! That means Dan Rinnert is the winner! Congratulations! I even have a screenshot to show that this was not rigged.
Well there you go Dan. Thanks for entering! I’ll try to hold another contest soon. Well I will write the review ASAP, but I make no guarantees. This is because today was the first day of school for me. YAY! Not really, I’m dead tired. Here is my schedule
1st Hour- Pre Calc. This class is really easy we have group quizzes, and I already have extra credit for doing a puzzle.
2nd Hour- Health. This is my blow off class. Easy but really boring.
3rd Hour- Honors/IB chemistry- Hardest class I have. I hope the teacher can actually teach.
4th Hour- Spanish III- Relatively easy, but we actually have to participate to get a good grade
5th hour- Honors English 10- Moderate class, but we already have a test tomorrow!
6th Hour- US GOV- I’m in a class full of juniors (I’m a sophomore), I don’t know anyone. Hopefully I can make some new friends.
Thus concludes my schedule. Again congrats Dan! I will post the review ASAP.
If you liked this post, please buy me a drank.

Yay! First thing I’ve won this month!
>>I’m in a class full of juniors (I’m a sophomore)
I remember my Freshman year, in one class, the guy sitting next to me asked, “Are you a Sophomore?”
“No.”
“Junior?”
“No.”
“Senior?”
“No.”
He didn’t think Freshmen could take the class I was in.
Heh freshman year is always intimidating
Before we got to high school, we had a nice dog and pony show about how wonderful it was. In the 8th grade, we had a field trip to the high school to show us how great it was. (I suppose this was their marketing effort to keep us from going to one of the several private high schools in the region.)
One highlight was the amount of freedom you had as a high school student. Lunch time, for example, was great. You could eat in the cafeteria, or you could go outside and sit on the bleachers and eat, then play frisbee with your friends when you were done. And, students were doing all that while we were on our field trip. It was like a magical wonderland.
But, as they say, that was the demo version.
When we actually got to high school, you had to stay in the cafeteria the whole time. There were two cafeterias and you could eat in either one, but once you went into one, you had to stay there. You couldn’t go back to the other cafeteria.
Then they made one big cafeteria and you had to stay in there. The flooring was different in the hallway than in the cafeteria, and you would get in trouble if your foot was even over the line between the two.
Meanwhile, my friends who decided to go to private schools, well, I think they were playing frisbee…
