A Blog that Lies

The sun was just about to set and the sky was filled with pink and purple shades. John was right about to board his helicopter to fly across the peaceful lake and enjoy the view. Suddenly, four masked men came bursting out of the darkness coming straight for John. John tried to get in to fly away, but it was too late.
“Now you’re going to do what we tell you to do, and no one gets hurt.” What appeared to be the leader of the gang said pointing a gun.
“Get into the helicopter and fly north to the Cannes-Mandelieu prison and land on the rooftop, you hear? If anything goes wrong, your head will be blown off. Another man said carrying a shotgun and AK-47.
John was shaking in fear as he got into the copter. He had to fly with a shotgun and pistol placed right on his head.
In the Prison twenty minutes away
“Albert I want you to land on top of the roof in exactly twenty minutes. Then, bust in through the roof, and my cell is just on the right. I’ve slipped drugs in the nearby guards, so you don’t have to worry about them. Remember, if anything goes wrong the deal is off.” Pascal said into a walkie-talkie.
“I understand my master.” Albert radioed back.
“Good, good I expect you precisely nineteen minutes and ten seconds.” Pascal closed the walkie-talkie, and stood up touching the bars that held him imprisoned for nearly three months. He could barely hold his excitement down when he thought of freedom at last. Finally, he could hear the roaring helicopter blades land onto the rooftop. Freedom was here.
On the Rooftop
“Stay here or we’ll kill you and your family.” Albert said to the terrified John.
John couldn’t move even if he tried. Albert and his gang carried their heavy guns down and busted through steel bars blocking the entrance with their bare hands. Each of them jumping down and shortly reappeared with Pascal joining them on the roof top.
“Go, go, go, and go!” Pascal commanded John while barely getting on the copter.
“You guys were two minutes late by the way.”
“Don’t mention it; the stupid pilot is too slow. Now, we want you to land us in the forest forty miles away, you understand?”
“I might land in an awkward position without an official landing zone though.”
“Just shut up and fly!”
An hour later, and they were there. Each of the men jumped out and took of their masks running leaving a relived John behind.
